Build Before Q-Day
Privacy policy
Draft of 4 November 2026
LEGAL: pending Bonnard Lawson review
What we collect
From GitHub: your user id, username, name, avatar and verified primary email. From X: your username and, when you connect through X, your user id. From QoreX: your testnet address and the proof transaction or signature.
From the form: your level, team mode, consents with their dates, and your marketing choice. We also record the campaign link you arrived from (utm parameters), with no tracking cookies.
What is public
Your email is never shown publicly. Project pages show the project, its team's GitHub usernames and avatars, and the testnet addresses the project uses.
What we do not store
We do not keep GitHub or X access tokens. They are used once, when you connect, and discarded.
Why
To run the event: registration, judging, voting, prizes and operational emails. Marketing emails are sent only if you ticked the separate marketing box, and you can untick it at any time.
Where
Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services and emails are sent with Amazon SES.
How long
For the event and the follow-on grant period, then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can see your data on the registration page and delete your account there at any time. You may also ask for a copy, a correction or deletion through the organiser's contact channels on qorechain.io.
